Our History
Although Gatekeeper Self-Storage is a new facility that opened in 2020, our highly capable and experienced staff have been a part of the community for decades. Our owner, Brett Vincent, purchased Gatekeeper Properties - our sister property management company - in 2002. After seeing a demand for clean, well-maintained, and temperature-controlled storage units in the local area, he decided to build Gatekeeper Self-Storage. Brett is active in the Fayette Rotary Club, the Chamber of Commerce, and the PowerCore business networking group.
As a hands-on business owner and family man, Brett and his staff are committed to providing the local community with safe, secure, clean, and temperature-controlled storage units and competitive rates.

Our two-level facility opened in 2020 and includes state-of-the-art surveillance cameras with video recording.
Gatekeeper Self-Storage offers a wide range of unit sizes—from our smallest 4x4 unit up to a spacious 10x23 unit. With 19 different unit sizes, we have the perfect size unit for your needs. We also offer boat and RV parking spaces.
Our on-site manager and friendly staff are dedicated to meeting all your storage needs—from moving supplies to insurance. We offer competitive rates and month-to-month rentals. Our online customer portal allows you to pay your bill and manage your account from anywhere. We also offer AutoPay for added convenience.

Gatekeeper self storage has been the best storage unit experience I have ever had. As a small business owner finding a place to use for storage is so important! It needs to be safe, easily accessible, and in the case of our business, be climate controlled. Gatekeeper is all of this and more. It is a super convenient location for us and for only a few dollars more a month we have 24 hr access! The staff is excellent and always super helpful when I need anything from them.
